TAMS HP BASIC/UX 300

TAMS HP BASIC/UX 300 is the HP-UX 9.10 implementation of HP BASIC.  It provides HP Series 200/300 BASIC functionality (BASIC/WS) running "on top of" HP-UX 9.10.  BASIC/UX is highly compatible with BASIC/WS.

A license to use is required for each workstation running the software.  For a single workstation, one "License to use" and one "Media on CD" is required.  For multiple workstations, additional licenses are required, but all could share the same media CD.

Support LTU (License To Use):
This is the license to use the product. One LTU is required for each computer that is executing code. When a product is sold it has a LTU which covers that revision of the product. The support LTU provides a new LTU that covers new releases of the software.
All TAMS Licenses specify the product revision, which is licensed, but allow the use of previous versions of the product. For example if the current version of a product is 6.0 the LTU is valid for 6.0 and any previous version of the product like 4.0.
A support LTU is required in order to receive Support Materials.
Support Media:
This provides updated software and documentation.  Software is provided on  CD-ROM.   Documentation may be provided as a CD-ROM with html or pdf files, a printed manual, or for simple changes, as an errata sheet.  This must be ordered with the Support LTU.
Support Response Center:
This service provides customers with direct access to our Engineering Response Center to handle all technical questions relating to the product under support. The Response Center provides guaranteed response times and accesses to qualified support engineers who can provide solutions to common problems, investigate anomalies and address bugs.  The Response Center may be purchased separately from the Support LTU and Materials.
