TAMS SCSI Upgrade Binary

This binary is used for Hewlett-Packard BASIC Workstations with SCSI interfaces (such as the HP 362 & 382) and HP BASIC/WS version 6.3 or higher. It allows the BASIC workstation to use an Iomega ZIP drive as a high capacity LIF removable media disk.

This binary is called "SCSI" and relaces the standard SCSI binary. the only change made in this binary is the addition of Iomega Zip Drive capability. Once installed the SCSI binary will show as version 6.7 on the list of binaries generated on BASIC's LIST BIN command. All functionality for previously supported SCSI devices will be exactly as before.

System Requirements:

• HP 300 Series Workstation with SCSI Interface (362 or 382)
• HP BASIC/WS 6.3 or higher
• Iomega ZIP Drive (SCSI version, not parallel version)
• SCSI Cable. Note: you can not use the cable that normally comes with the drive because it is an Apple style, 25 pin connector on both ends. You need a SCSI 50 pin condensed style on one end, and the 25 pin on the other. We have the right cable. Click [here] for details.
