How to configure TAMS GPIO (62622, 61622, 60622)

This assumes that you have already installed the interface in the PC and have installed the software drivers.  You may install them in any order, but you must reboot after installing the sofware drivers.  After the initial reboot after the software is installed, it will not be necessary to reboot after configuring.

To configure the TAMS GPIO interface:

The interface is configured from the regular i_o config utility. Select

START -- PROGRAMS -- HP I_O LIBRARIES -- I_O CONFIG

The TAMS GPIO interface will be listed on the left; select that and click CONFIGURE.  Follow the directions in the utility.

When you are finished configuring, it is not necessary to reboot, even though the utility will give its standard warning that the changes won't take effect until after a reboot.  In this case, the changes will be immediate.
