GPIO Cable Connection Information

The Hewlett Packard GPIO cable (5061-4209) and TAMS GPIO cable (622-001) are compatible with all TAMS, Agilent and older Hewlett Packard GPIO interfaces.  However, the HP 5061-4209 cable does not include any hardware with which to secure the connection.  The TAMS 622-001 cable has screwlocks installed, but they are of a different screw type than what may be installed on your TAMS card.  The 622-001 cable has English 4-40 jackscrews, but TAMS 61622 & 71622 GPIO cards have M3.5 screwlocks.  Some users may find it easier to retrofit the screwlocks installed on the GPIO card.  TAMS supplies replacement 4-40 screwlocks with the 622-001 cables.  Please contact us with any questions.
