TAMS USB/GPIB Controller

The TAMS USB/GPIB Controller adds IEEE-488 (General Purpose Instrument Bus - GPIB) capabilities to any computer with a USB port running Windows 2000, XP or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The TAMS USB/GPIB Controller takes full advantage of the High Speed USB 2.0 bus performance.  Other manufacturers may claim higher transfer rates, but they are publishing their small block transfer number.  It's easy to be fast with small block transfers. The only  relevant transfer rate is for large block transfers.  TAMS USB/GPIB Controller delivers the highest possible level of throughput for large block transfers.

Whether you are using BASIC or programming in C with the SICL or VISA library, your code will run at full performance. 

The small size and light weight make it ideal for portable applications using a laptop computer, or for sharing the GPIB interface between computers.
