Changing the LAN Type.

This page describes how to change the LAN type between ThinLAN (BNC) and AUI LAN.

Before you start to reconfigure the LAN type:

1. Shut down th controller's application program and operating system.
2. Turn OFF the controller and unplug all cords and cables from it and any attached expanders.
3. Access the controller's internal assemblies by removing the top cover.

LAN Jumper Location

A jumper on the top edge of the LAN board selects the LAN type.  Simply move the jumper to change the LAN type from BNC to AUI or vice versa.
